Some say that "May you live in interesting times" is a Chinese curse. Whether it is or not, what we have experienced in recent years is undoubtedly more than interesting, and it is really hard to believe that we, as the Department of Industrial Design, are graduating our 15th graduates while all these interesting times are still going on. Sharing this unique experience since the beginning is a very personal honour to me. Looking at our graduates one by one, I see professionally equipped high quality personalities who will continue to contribute to our vision of becoming one of the most prestigious centers in the world in terms of design education, design research, and design practice with their future successes. We shared not only biggest challenges like the Covid-19 of the last two years but also moments of glory with these graduates whose performances and willingness to participate in the world of design today is making us pride.Dear alumni; While congratulating and wishing you all the best in your future lives, I’d like to remind that Izmir University of Economics, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Industrial Design is and will always be your permanent address.
