Inspired by the movement of the sea and the fluidity of water, this project aims to create a calming and comfortable waterfront environment in Izmir. The project, entitled "Thalassophile", is described in the architectural program as Waterfront Center & Marina. It aims at designing a mixed-use building that combines a marina, a sailing and rowing club, a hostel, and a fishing cooperative with an integrated urban landscape and a beach. Based on the design proposal, this marina is envisioned as a vibrant and both calming place that connects the city to the sea.
